The RCMP are seeking assistance from the public in locating Bruce James Woods, a 44-year-old Terrace man who has been missing since May 27. Woods, who may be attempting to reach Kitimat, was last seen at the Terrace Mr. Mikes Restaurant, where he is employed.

Woods is described as an Indigenous man, standing 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 130 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Woods’ family believes he may have his green BMX bike, a green backpack with a Curious George stuffed toy and a gold chain.

Family members have expressed deep concern for Woods’ well-being, noting that he is known for his reliability and close communication with loved ones. “He never misses work at Mr. Mikes and he never leaves his mom’s or sister’s calls unanswered,” the family shared in a Facebook post.

The family said they have checked areas such as Ferry Island, the Skeena River and Braun’s Island, but despite their efforts, there has been no sign of Woods.

Meanwhile, his girlfriend, Julie Edith Juanita Rush and his sister, Donna Mae Lincoln, have been actively seeking information on social media. “His boss and coworkers are on the lookout, and we would appreciate any leads. Please feel free to contact any of us. Thank you.”
